Attacks in Dublin, Waterford

There have been overnight attacks on homes in Dublin and Waterford.

In the Dublin incident shots were fired from a car through the front window of a house at Anamo Terrace in Cabra.

The gunman's car sped off in the direction of the North Circular Road.

Meanwhile, in Waterford a petrol bomb was thrown at the window of a house in Ballybeg. Again, no one was injured.
