Saville says gunman statement 'not off the record'

Bloody Sunday Inquiry chairman, Lord Saville, has moved to allay fears that a witness kept "off the record" an account of seeing a gunman on the day .

Lord Saville's statement followed questions from Lord Gifford QC about the claims of Charles McGill, who is due to begin his evidence this afternoon.
