Bertie Fisher dies in hospital

Irish rally driver, Bertie Fisher, has died in hospital from injuries sustained in Sunday's helicopter crash.

Mr Fisher passed away in hospital shortly after 11pm last night.

The tragic accident also claimed the lives of his 27-year-old son, Mark and 25-year-old daughter, Emma.

Mr Fisher's wife Gladys remains in a critical condition at a Belfast hospital, where another son, Roy, is said to be ill but stable.

The cause of the accident, which happened just minutes from the Fisher family home near Enniskillen, is still not clear.
