Male victim of Sligo fire named

The male victim of the fire at St Brigid's Place today has been named as 43-year-old Eugene Coyle.

He was originally from St John's Terrace, Sligo.

Gardai believe a housefire in which two women also died started accidentally.

Three others escaped from the house when the blaze broke out.

Two are still being treated in hospital where their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
