Wicklow crash: three critically ill

Three women in their twenties are critically ill this morning following a car crash on the Blessington to Tallaght Road.

There were seven people in the car, which crashed shortly before midnight, and which was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

The other four occupants, all in their twenties, have also been treated for injuries which are described as less serious.
