Doctors deny wrongdoing in morphine/pethidine probe

Two Irish doctors who are being investigated in relation to the administration of high doses of morphine and pethidine have denied any wrongdoing.

A regional health authority has reported the two unnamed GPs prescribed 2,800 doses of morphine and pethidine between them in a 12-month period.
