Nude calendar with priest withdrawn

A charity calendar of men in the nude, including a Galway priest, has been withdrawn following a protest from Fr Olan Rynn’s Bishop.

The Bishop of Galway, Dr James McLoughlin says he did not know what sort of calendar was being planned when he gave Fr Rynn the go-ahead to appear. The Bare Shakers 2001 Calendar was being sold in aid of cancer and cerebral palsy charities and also features local GAA stars.
