"Further county council fraud cases wouldn't suprise me" says minister

The Minister for the Environment, Noel Dempsey, has said that he would not be surprised if incidents of 'nixerisms', similar to the one in Roscommon, emerged from other local authorities.

Minister Dempsey says he is now asking the country’s main county managers to confirm that there has been no wrongdoing in their local authorities.
