Man dies in Westmeath crash

One man has died following a car accident at Ballinea, Mullingar, Co Westmeath. The man in his twenties is understood to be a native of Co Kildare. The accident happened at 7.00am this morning when the car collided with a ditch. The fatal accident marks the third death on Irish roads since the start of the year.
