Havoc on icy roads in midlands and west

There has been a spate of minor accidents across the west and midlands this morning as ice and frost returned. The situation has improved since breakfast time, but Gardai are still warning motorists to use caution. Parts of Counties Mayo, Roscommon, Galway and Sligo have been hit.
