Two shot in Limerick

Two people have been shot in Limerick. The man and a woman were confronted by armed youths in the O’Malley Park area. According to Gardai the victims were hit when the gunmen opened fire with a shotgun. They were hit by pellets in the head and body. The injuries are described as not life threatening. One man has been arrested.
