Public consultation on development of a national women’s strategy held in Cork

The first of a series of public consultation meetings towards the development of a national women’s strategy has been held in Cork.

The strategy aims to facilitate the advancement of women’s economic and societal interests, and written submissions can be made via www.genderequality.ie.

Equality Minister David Stanton hosted the first meeting of the public consultation on the forthcoming the strategy at the Imperial Hotel in Cork.
