Buttevant gets set to party as roadworks finally end

It may have taken a couple of years to repair and complete what was once dubbed the worst road surface in any Irish town. 

But tortured inter-city motorists, who endured huge delays between Cork and Limerick, will sound their horns in support as Buttevant plans to party.

To celebrate the end of the road and footpaths upgrades in the north Cork town, residents are planning an ‘Open for Business’ street party on Saturday, December 10.
