Drunken roars woke families on Christmas morning

Families awaiting Santa Claus early on Christmas morning had to deal with the rumpus caused by a drunken man shouting and roaring.

Inspector John Deasy said gardaí had been called to Innishmore Square in Ballincollig, Co Cork, at 3.30am on Christmas Day 2014 due to a disturbance.

Gardaí arrived to find Alan Collins, 27, of 1 Innishmore Square drinking beer on the green.
