Two young men who crept into the Aqua Dome, one of the country’s largest indoor water parks three nights in a row for a late night swim were convicted of trespass yesterday and warned not to take such a dip again — or face jail.

Eric O’Shea, aged 21, of Lohercannon, Tralee, Co Kerry, had pleaded guilty to entering as a trespasser a building known as the Aqua Dome, on the Dan Spring Road, Tralee, on June 22, 23 and 24, 2015.

O’Shea, when charged, told Gardaí “I’m sorry, I was drunk.”
