Watch the celebrations as Juno spacecraft enters orbit around Jupiter

NASA's Juno spacecraft reached Jupiter after a five-year journey through the solar system after a five-year, 1.4 billion-mile voyage.

The spacecraft, named after the Roman goddess, completed a high-stakes manoeuvre that saw it fire a rocket to slow its 150,000 mph (250,000 kph) approach to the planet.

The success prompted much celebration at mission control as you will see.
