A man who caused a disturbance at a Chicken Hut facility has been sentenced to two months in prison.

Mossie Roche, aged 33, of Arlington Lodge, Church St, Tralee, has more than 100 previous convictions for “offences across the spectrum” and is currently serving a 15-month sentence imposed in Tralee. He is due for release in September.

He was “shouting and roaring insults” at the staff of the Chicken Hut takeaway in Castle St, Tralee. It was shortly after midnight and he was highly intoxicated, Sergeant Miriam Mulhall Nolan outlined at Tralee District Court.
