Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have both launched investigations into the death of a 28-year-old man on the family farm in Co Cork yesterday afternoon.

Donal O’Callaghan died after he fell from the roof of a shed upon which he was standing in Inchisine, Macroom, at approximately 1pm.

It is understood he had climbed up on the building to film the silage harvest when a part gave way and he fell through.
