Whitey Bulger's victims to benefit from auction of personal belongings
Federal prosecutors in the US filed a court motion earlier this week to forfeit further assets of the 86-year-old.
Earlier this year, a separate order was made to auction off dozens of items seized from Bulger, following his capture five years ago.
Following the new motion, further seized belongings —including a sterling silver skull ring, valuable coins, jewellery, books, magazines, clothing and other household items — are also set to go under the hammer at the scheduled auction on June 24-26.
Bulger, whose life of crime was depicted by Johnny Depp in Hollywood movie recently, is serving a life sentence at a federal penitentiary in Florida.
