Whitey Bulger's victims to benefit from auction of personal belongings

A number of items belonging to convicted mobster James ‘Whitey’ Bulger are set to be sold off at auction to help compensate the Irish-American gangster’s murder and extortion victims.

Federal prosecutors in the US filed a court motion earlier this week to forfeit further assets of the 86-year-old.

Earlier this year, a separate order was made to auction off dozens of items seized from Bulger, following his capture five years ago.
