Parents left baby in car on baking hot day

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a baby was left unattended in a car in an East Cork shopping centre on one of the hottest days of the year.

Superintendent John Quilter confirmed a garda probe is under way after footage of the incident was posted on social media.

It has since gone viral.
