Gardaí close in on Vincent Ryan killers

Gardaí are closing the net on the gang behind the murder of dissident republican Vincent Ryan three weeks ago.

Detectives arrested a fourth man on Saturday under special organised crime legislation, which allows for up to seven days’ questioning on foot of applications to the courts.

One man has been released, but two others arrested last week remain in custody under the legislation.
