Litany of charges for girl, 15, includes Taser possession

A 15-year-old girl has appeared in a court in Dublin accused of possessing a Taser stun gun.

She is accused of unlawful possession of the weapon which is capable of injuring and incapacitating, in a public place in north Co Dublin on August 30 last. The charge is under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act.

The girl, who cannot be named, faces a litany of charges and was remanded on bail by Judge John O’Connor at the Dublin Children’s Court yesterday.
