Man on trial for abusing 3 teens

The High Court has cleared the way for the trial of a man accused of sexually abusing three teenagers at a children’s home more than 40 years ago.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of sexually abusing three people, two females and a male, at a home run by a religious order.

He asked the High Court to halt his prosecution on the charges arising out of complaints made by the two females. The charges in respect of the third person were not part of the High Court action.
