Speculation is mounting that Toaiseach Enda Kenny will call an election tomorrow after a Ministers meeting was rescheduled. The Fine Gael Ministers meeting, which normally happens pre-Cabinet on Tuesday, has been moved to tonight at 7pm.
A man has been killed and two Gardaí have been injured in a two-car traffic accident in Co. Galway. Gardaí in Gort are investigating the collision that happened on the N18, around 2kms on the Galway side of Ardrahan shortly after 12.30am.
Twenty-two modular homes will be completed and ready to move into in Ballymun in north Dublin by the end of the month. That is a delay of around two months after protests at the site and weather disruption.
