Healthcare firm Nua to create 800 jobs over three years
Nua healthcare today announces 800 positions to be filled over the next three years.
âOur service model and approach has experienced huge demand over the past number of years and todayâs announcement is a major step towards making our service more accessible,â said CEO Edward Dunne.
âNua is committed to working in partnership with the HSE to meet the growing demand within the Disability Sector and to support the HSE in its planned transition of individuals from congregated settings to high-quality community environments.â
The first 30 positions are to be created today with the official opening of Glenview House in Kilmallock, Co Limerick â Nua Healthcareâs newest facility. A further 270 positions will be created this year.
Minister of State at the Department of Health Kathleen Lynch welcomed the news.
âIntellectual Disability care is a key priority in the health sector and the services offered by Nua Healthcare in support of the HSE is invaluable in the Munster region and beyond,â she said.
