The Chinese students will join some 50,000 students in 1,850 classes in more than 24 countries, including 18 classes in India, one in Australia and 27 in Boole’s home town of Lincoln in England, for the Boole2School initiative on November 2.

UCC’s vice president of teaching and learning, Professor John O’Halloran, said the participation by Chinese schools in this event is a perfect example of how Cork, although small, is punching way above its weight on the global stage, particularly in China.
