Gardaí probe killing of 7ft 6in man

The 24-year-old ‘giant’ who died after he was found unconscious in the front lawn of a house in Tralee, Co Kerry, had been badly beaten.

Gardai upgraded their investigation to murder on Saturday night after 7ft 6in Belarusian national Dimitri Hrynkevich died.

Mr Hrynkevich was found by emergency services in the front lawn of a house he was staying at in Killeen Woods, Tralee, at 10.30pm on Wednesday.
