‘Catastrophic’ impact of gang raid

It was a horrific and violent attack on a young family that caused “catastrophic changes” to their lives and “shocked an entire nation”.

The seven-man gang that terrified Mark and Emma Corcoran and their three young daughters have been jailed for between five and 16 years.

Judge Thomas Teehan said the crime inflicted on the Corcorans in their Co Tipperary home almost two years ago was an affront to the law-abiding citizens of Ireland.
