‘It is absolutely untrue we were all responsible for bailout crisis’

Tánaiste Joan Burton used the probe into the banking crisis to brand Fianna Fáil “liars” for trying to claim everyone had a role in the crash.

As figures who were in senior opposition positions during the boom and bust era gave evidence, the Labour leader directed her fire against Fianna Fáil, branding the bank guarantee a national “disaster”.
