RTÉ: ‘Sadly, Bill O’Herlihy show will not be made now’

Bill O’Herlihy will be laid to rest this Friday, while RTÉ confirmed that the show he was working on at the time of his sudden death was a sports programme that will not now be completed.

An RTÉ spokesman said the show had been a sporting Reeling In The Years-type programme that was to feature viewer input. A spokesman said the programme “won’t be made now, sadly”. It is understood O’Herlihy attended a production meeting about the show in recent weeks.
