Gardaí continue appeals to mother

Gardaí have released photographs of baby ‘Maria’ in a bid to get her mother to come forward.

Investigators took the move some 12 days after the newborn was found inside a bag on the side of the road on the outskirts of Dublin City.

The baby, just a day or so old at the time, was wrapped inside blankets and a plastic black bin liner.
