Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams blamed dissidents for a bomb threat that targeted his family home yesterday which followed similar threats and attacks on homes of Sinn Féin officials.

The party leader described how police in the North arrived at his family home in west Belfast with sniffer dogs after an alert was raised about a bomb threat.

“The people behind this are probably focused stupidly on the British general election and it totally and absolutely runs against any sense of decency or fairness.
