A delay in building a waste water treatment plant for Youghal’s Front Strand has reportedly been exacerbated by hold-ups in the foreshore licensing process.

A shellfish company based in Co Waterford also has concerns about one of the five proposed outfall points for waste water in Youghal harbour where there are mussel beds.
