An ‘a resting’ experience for Joan

It’s a plotline even Hollywood executives would have struggled to write: Glamourpuss Alexis Carrington arrested in a dramatic plot twist involving an anti-water charges protest in Dublin.

As we all know, it didn’t happen, but thanks to the medium of Twitter, actress Joan Collins and her Dáil deputy namesake did cross paths yesterday, in a way.

Joan Collins, of Dynasty fame, got the ball rolling by tweeting yesterday morning: “No I am not the Joan Collins Who was a rested [sic] yesterday At a Dublin protest meeting !!! The very idea!!”
