Celebs back Elton John’s D&G boycott

Victoria Beckham and Courtney Love have backed Elton John’s call for a boycott of fashion brand Dolce and Gabbana after the designers labelled children born via IVF “synthetic”.

The songwriter, who has two children with husband David Furnish, rebuked the Italian pair for criticising same-sex families and the use of fertility treatment.

Business partners Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who are gay and were formerly a couple, previously criticised same-sex marriage but in an interview with an Italian magazine over the weekend, the remarks were extended to an objection to gay families.
