Food safety closure orders

An Eddie Rocket’s diner in Arklow and the delicatessen area of a Cork supermarket were among nine premises served with a closure order last month for food safety legislation breaches.

A bar in Cavan was also prosecuted by the Food Safety Authority for selling counterfeit vodka.

The Eddie Rocket’s outlet in Arklow’s Bridgewater Shopping Centre and a Spar supermarket on Douglas St, Cork, were both ordered by the FSAI to close for a day.
