Tragic victim of suspected drug overdose had troubled family history 

A young woman who died of a suspected drug overdose is the latest victim of a family fraught with problems, which include her aunt being jailed for a double murder and her mother dying in a drink-fuelled car crash.

Chloe Walsh, also known as Chloe O’Connor, was found dead at a house at Knockbrogan, Old Cork Rd, Bandon, Co Cork, yesterday morning after a suspected heroin overdose.

Gardaí removed her body from the scene shortly before noon and are awaiting toxicology reports, which may take some weeks to finalise, before they can establish the exact cause of her death.
