Kelly calls Irish Water critic a coward as utility denies ‘secret’ union deal

Environment Minister Alan Kelly has been involved in an ugly Twitter spat over Irish Water as the utility’s costs were once again at the centre of controversy.

Mr Kelly branded a Twitter user who accused him of impropriety of being a “coward” for not using a real name on the site.

After a councillor tweeted Mr Kelly to say he had details of the person, the minister asked for them to be sent to him so he could “deal with him/her/them”.
