Kenny admits Irish Water, medical card errors

The Taoiseach has admitted that mistakes were made in the setting up of Irish Water, and in the handling of the discretionary medical card crisis.

Enda Kenny owned up to where the Coalition got it wrong in an end-of-year media briefing, as latest polls show support for Fine Gael and Labour continues to fall.

However, he urged voters not to replace the Coalition with “wreckers” who would destroy any hard-won economic gains.
