Páirc Uí Chaoimh seats for a fiver no bum steer

It’s no surprise that the seats in the Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium are as good as new given the classic matches staged there which have had crowds on their feet over the last decade.

Now, with its redevelopment given the green light by An Bord Pleanála earlier this month, Cork County Board needs to get rid of 18,000 seats and has given clubs the chance to snap them up.

A note went out to the clubs last Friday which read: “The seating in Páirc Uí Chaoimh is now being removed and seats are available for sale to clubs, on a first come, first served basis, at a cost €5 per seat.”
