Gunpoint robbery by man in dress and wig
A large sum of money, believed to be in the region of €15,000, was taken from the victim as he was lodging the cash at a bank deposit box at Rathgar Village in Dublin at 4.45am.
The businessman, 44, is understood to have been depositing the takings from a local pub when he was threatened by the man, dressed in women’s clothing and armed with what gardaí believe was a handgun. It is believed the attacker was wearing a dress and a wig.
