Law Society apologises to man after article calls him ‘certified insane’
The apology was read out in court as part of James Bailey’s settlement of his action for defamation over the publication of the article in the Law Society Gazette in November 2006.
Mr Bailey, of Ardcanaught, Castelmaine, Co Kerry, had sued the Law Society of Ireland and the barrister who wrote the article, Byron Wade BL.
