Man released in McConville probe

A pensioner arrested by detectives investigating the kidnap and murder of Belfast mother of 10 Jean McConville has been released without charge.

The 73-year-old man had been detained in Dunmurry in greater Belfast.

The abduction, killing and secret burial of Ms McConville in 1972 is one of the most notorious crimes of the Troubles in the North.
