Charity to take sick children on trip of a lifetime

Terminally ill children, others who are seriously ill, and some who have suffered abuse will be setting off on a magical trip to Disneyland Paris next month courtesy of a Cork charity.

A total of 40 children, along with a number of their carers, will jet out to Paris on October 7 thanks to the Cork City Hospitals’ Children’s Club.

Those travelling have been chosen from nominations by staff from Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital as well as the Deaf Association, St Gabriel’s, and the gardaí.
