Outspoken Labour TD Michael McNamara has settled the unfair dismissal case taken against by him by a childhood friend.

In Ennis yesterday, three members of the Employment Appeals Tribunal were due to hear direct evidence from Mr McNamara’s former parliamentary assistant, Conor Daly.

Mr Daly had taken the unfair dismissal action against his former boss after being let go from his post in 2012.
