The Greyhound Waste Recycling company and its striking workers are hopeful that talks will produce a full and acceptable resolution to the pay dispute, the High Court was told yesterday.

Counsel for Greyhound Louis McEntaggart told Mr Justice Brian Cregan that negotiations were already well advanced since Ms Justice Bronagh O’Hanlon last week told the parties to renew talks.

“All of the parties have agreed to an adjournment of another week during which time they hope to overcome any remaining issues,” Mr McEntaggart told the court.
