Philomena Lee to speak at UCC adoption law conference

Philomena Lee will be among the speakers at a two-day international conference in UCC next month.

Redefining adoption in a new era: Opportunities and challenges for law and practice’ is the result of a joint partnership between the School of Applied Social Studies and the Faculty of Law, UCC and takes place on September 4-5.

Philomena Lee, whose moving story of the search for her son inspired the recent movie ‘Philomena’, will contribute to the conference on 4-5 September 2014.
