Injunction was unnecessary, say former golf club owners

Barrister Tom Murphy, who appeared for Donal and Breda Morrissey, in proceedings restraining them from building a fence across the first and second fairways of the course, said they were upset with the aggressive attitude of the new owners and claimed injunctive proceedings had been unnecessary.

Mr Murphy said it had been agreed with new owners Lismard Properties and Enterprises that the injunction could be vacated and replaced with an undertaking to similar effect from the couple.
