Irish Water refuses to meet Cork councillors

Cork county councillors have reacted angrily to news that Irish Water representatives will not meet them on a regular basis to discuss water and sewerage projects.

The county council acts as agents for the new authority and is paid around €30m per annum to carry out works on its behalf.
