Gardaí find cannabis in kitchen cupboard

Gardaí who were suspicious of drug-related activity in a house at Passage West, Co Cork, obtained a warrant to search the home and found a cannabis bar worth over €500 in a kitchen cupboard.

Suzanne Cunneen, 33, of 14 Avondale Mews, Passage West, pleaded not guilty at Cork District Court yesterday to a charge of possessing the drug for the purpose of sale or supply to others.

Solicitor Neal Horgan said Cunneen was pleading guilty to the charge of possessing the drug but not to having it for sale or supply.
